Often after a workshop or some private transformation sessions, clients ask me a seemingly challenging question. A question you may think I’d rather dodge, perhaps one that I may even dread— “So what kind of transformation should I expect?” or something along the lines of, “When will I feel the change?” or perhaps even, “Why does it seem to get more and more challenging as we seem to progress along this journey? Shouldn’t it make life easier?”

I found my usual response very eloquently tucked away within the pages of a book turned yellow with time. The author of which, while referring to his book says, “I don’t know if what you learn will improve your job in a conventional sense. Who knows, it might make you upset enough to quit your job and find a better one! But it may help you in a spiritual sense.

It is the same with inner transformation work. I don’t know if you will achieve the exact outcome or result that YOU are looking for. We don’t specialise in providing symptomatic relief (in anything)! We simply facilitate healing for you to achieve your highest best. So, who knows if you will get the exact result you want. What you will definitely gain is spiritual growth. The “risk” is yours to take.

Whether you choose to grow and transform or simply find symptomatic relief to your traumatic relationship, depressing job or chronic health condition, is a choice for you to make.

The author, Lewis Richmond continues, while referring to his book, “I don’t know what will happen if you try the practices in this book, but I am sure of one thing: Something will happen. The reason i’m so sure is that something is always happening. The world is full of spiritual opportunity. The trick is to be alert enough to notice it.

A great being once said, when referring to his disciples’ meditation experiences, “Nothing is never happening.” It’s just like Richmond says, “Something is always happening.” It’s up to you to notice that something and make a greater something out of it. The path is yours to tread, the journey is yours to live.

  1. I was just chatting with my coworker about this today at lunch . Don’t remember how we got on the subject in actuality, they brought it up. I do recall eating a wonderful steak salad with cranberries on it. I digress
