Merlin’s Magickal Manifestations (a little bit of magick)

Manifest with me

Just as there are so many legends about Hanuman, Lord Rama, Shiva, Jesus, Moses and many other great beings.

Of course it depends on each one of us to have or not have faith in these legends and their existence. While their physical representations are ones created by man (perhaps based on what we have seen them to be in our meditations and visions), they allow us to experience them and connect with them through these forms.

Merlin is one such legendary Divine Magician. He calls out to us or comes to us in his own time. Just as is my personal story with Merlin. And when he did call out to me, he began to stir a very sweet magic in my life from the very next day.

The Walls Within

[2/22, 9:44 PM]

This was the time stamp when a beautiful conversation commenced on our class group for our upcoming workshop entitled “Inner Committee of Angels”

Now if there’s anything you know about Angels you may also know that they communicate with us through numbers (apart from various other ways and means). Trust me when I say I was quite the sceptic till I hadn’t experienced their tangible presence in my life itself).

Caterpillar & the butterfly- the story of you & me

Why is it that some of us seem to be suffering so much and others seem to be so evolved, untouched and above it all? For the sake of this tale, how about we call the former guys the caterpillars and the latter guys the butterflies.
Taking a step back from the caterpillars and butterflies for a moment- let’s reflect on the term “Ascension”. What does this phenomenon mean to you? Are you aware or simply fresh-off-the-boat for this one? Either ways, it’s cool. There was a time when I was new to this concept as well, until well- everything began to make a whole lot more sense when I began to study this little (not so little) concept.
Ascension, in its simplest form refers to “rising” to a higher level. The concept of ascension that we are referring to here is the rising or evolution as an entire planet and not just species.
If you consider the period around the years 2011-2012/13 you will recall the turmoil our planet and people were going through globally. To list a few, bombings in Iraq, 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Turkey, three massive bombings in Mumbai, Osama Bin Laden getting captured and killed, the Libyan uprising leading to war, bombings in Moscow, Quran burnings related uproar in Afghanistan, a luxury cruise liner going down under in Italy and the conflict between Israel and Gaza being reignited.
On a personal level i’m sure many of us can recall struggling with our health, career, personal lives and relationships during this period. This was also a time when “end of the earth” as we know it, had been predicted by many including Nostradamus.
According to the theory of ascension and in the field of light-workers and energy healers, the world/earth did come to an end during this time, when the earth’s frequency went to a paradigm shift and realignment.
This reorganisation of the energy system of our planet had (and continues to have) a massive impact on all living beings (the plant kingdom, animal kingdom as well as mankind). Some chose (at a soul level) to flow with the tide and allow the ascension to take them along wherever it chose to go and others chose (at a soul level) to go against the tide and fight (the inevitable).
Now, lets come back to the caterpillar guys and the butterfly guys! The ones who chose to accept the ascension and surrender to the forces of the universe, may have thought going with the flow meant choosing the easy way out and so maybe they expected a bed of roses. To their utter dismay (at least to some of them), this journey was a tedious one. An uphill task, a trek for which perhaps they hadn’t trained. And so began the metamorphosis of the caterpillar guys into free floating butterflies with wings of their own and beautiful colours to flutter around with and spread joy with.
Those caterpillar guys who had already been through their own journey through the universal portal, touching the iridescent cosmic light had been through their growing pains (perhaps several years ago or even lifetimes ahead of some caterpillar guys) earlier on. So they continued to flutter their wings unruffled by the ascension that has mankind going wild.
Others chose to surrender to the ascension of the universe by passing on from their physical form into formlessness and so they passed in many ways and forms and continue to do so. It is only a result of our limited minds that we construe death to be the end. It truly is the end. Just that it’s the end of something (life) as we know it.
So enjoy the ride because you’re already on it, especially if you’re reading this article! It’s a beautiful journey, I can tell you with the benefit of hindsight! From my studies I came to realise that I went through (at least some part) of this journey during the period of 1999-2001/2003. It was the most excruciating of times, a period I felt I may never come out of, and yet when I look back, jagged memories of bygone moments only flood back with increasing waves of gratitude and knowing that it was all for the blessed life I now have which would have been impossible if it weren’t for the growing pains of back then.
After all, did you ever ask the butterfly what it took to shed its entire identity to come into its new found form and splendour?

The Closeted Seeker- Part IV

…I set restrictions on who I should be as a Liberated Seeker, one who isn’t confined within the mind any more. Yet, do you smell the irony?

I thought I must impose perfection on myself if I choose to be the torch bearer. But who defined what perfect is anyway? “Is it yet another laundry list created by the constructs we enslave ourselves within?” I thought to myself.

The Closeted Seeker- Part III

no thumb

The conflict within continued, for the raging volcano inside me just couldn’t contain itself any longer.

Yet, perhaps I was a bit embarrassed at who I am. Embarrassed, I may not fit in. Embarrassed, of being judged by what you say. Embarrassed, by your expectations and whether i’d be able to fulfil them as a liberated seeker. One not closeted any longer. One known to all.

The Closeted Seeker- Part II

Escaping myself, I continued to exist. Dying a little by little day by day…

10 years ago, I was fortunate to be gifted the most beautiful book of Hafiz by my Shri Guru. In it I heard Him say:

O dance, Hafiz, Dance.

Write a thousand luminous secrets

Upon the wall of Existence

So that even a blind man will know

Where we are, and join us in this Love!

Yet, it did not occur to me once that Hafiz, the great lover of all times was calling out saying “live with abandon!”

Here I was, existing with everything but abandon. The worries of the world and fitting into it had gripped me so hard that the burden I carried was far greater than one could ever imagine.

The story of Mr. Flow

Resistance is the nature of the mind, not that of the soul” whispered the voice I have come to recognise as the Self’.

For many years when I wasn’t flowing along the tide of life, I struggled and struggles followed me. I chose to flow as per my own ways. Sometimes “my flow” was dictated by my comforts and at other times by my desires.
There have been times when my flow was directed by influential beings in my life be it my Guru, parents, teachers, world leaders and so on. Somehow, flowing with the flow of someone standing in the space of authority didn’t always feel like flowing in my flow. And so I continued to un-flow. Stuck in the inability to really know what it is to flow.

For many years when I wasn’t flowing along the tide of life, I struggled and struggles followed me.

Resistance is the nature of the mind, not that of the soul.” This didn’t really make sense till it actually occurred to me. Resisting the flow is tending against its very nature.
Have you ever swum against the tide? It’s quite a workout!! Good fun too and much of a challenge. If that’s not something you’re ready for though, I’d give it a second thought.
Breakthroughs can take place very cataclysmically or in subtler ways than that of the breath. I can’t recall now, whether mine was more of a cataclysm or a faint shift. Whatever it was, it moved me completely.
The walls of resistance crumbled spontaneously and revealed the floodgates through which flow just flowed. It didn’t matter whose flow it was, who it belonged to or where it came from. Flow felt right anyway, because it was the nature of flow.

Resistance is the nature of the mind, not that of the soul.

The Closeted Seeker-Part I

It’s not always easy being really who you are, is it?

Well, at least for me it hasn’t been or I could say, it wasn’t.

I was that school girl who didn’t fit in to any of the cliques.

Although a consistent gold/silver medalist in the 100-200 meter running races, I still didn’t make it to the top favourite or famous girls list in school.

Well, it didn’t really matter. I was that strange girl with oily plated hair, unkempt (read: rather hairy) legs, a healthy body structure (not the petite kind that I’d have loved to have been!), two left feet whether it came to dancing or sports… So you must think, how could I have expected to be a popular girl!?
